Housing

If you want to use your minors trust fund for a housing purchase, our office is happy to assist you. We’ve created a Housing Guide, and we will help you maximize your trust fund distribution according to the Minors Fund distribution for housing guidelines.

Buying a house is a great investment. Please be aware that your Minors Fund disbursement is taxed at 25% for a federal tax withholding. We do not withhold any portion for state taxes, but the total Minors Fund distribution is taxable income.

You must log in to the online portal to access your account balance if you are planning to purchase a house with your Minors Fund. You will need to know your account balance to update your housing worksheet.
